You will explore the historical old town of Dresden with the Zwinger, the Semper Opera house, the Royal Castle and the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) on a guided walking tour.

In 2010 there is a very special highlight: Exactly 300 years ago, in 1710, Europe's first porcelain manufatory was founded in Meissen, after Böttger had discoverd the secret of the "White gold" in Dresden. The Porcelain Collection of the Dresden State Art Collcetion uses this as an occasion to create the special exhibition "Triumph of the Blue Swords. Meißen Porcelain for Aristocracy and Bourgeoisie from 1710 to 1815." at the Japanese Palace (Japanisches Palais) in Dresden.
